A Landscape Makeover Plea By Natalie Lewis
A landscaping makeover would be great For my aging mother of 78. Her chronic leukemia is getting her down. So we built an addition, moved her to our town. Her new home is beautiful She's ready to move in. But when we look at our yard, it makes us all grin.
The contractors used such big equipment. Our yard was destroyed to our astonishment. I envisioned a beautiful garden for mom. Plantings, shrubs, and azaleas for her to be calm. Seating for mom and the dogs to sit, In a shady area, she can swing and cool it. We use the yard for entertainment too. Invite the friends to a party in that mud pile; would you?
Our plans were to hire a landscaper; it's true. But the bank account shrunk with each brick and each screw. We used every penny for mom to move in. The addition went over only by TEN THOUSAND!
Mom now feels guilty and wants to fix it. But her savings were spent on a new lifestyle, every bit. We're the caretakers of our adult child. She's living with lupus, and our life is restyled. Our extra cash pays all her expenses. Leaving no money for our landscaping fences.
Buddy Lee, Please, please; will you select me! I'll sit with azaleas right by my knee. Autumn Sunset, Bravo, Sweetheart and Carnation. We're requesting Encore for our yard's sensation. Blooming azaleas spring, summer, and fall, We're begging and pleasing, for an answer to our call. |
