Color-scaping with Cool-colored Encore Azaleas

Cool Colors are white, pink, blue, purple, and green. They are known to produce a calming effect and are often used to create the illusion of depth. If you want a cool color theme and need to add depth to your landscape, put the lightest colored plants in the foreground and the darkest colored plants in the background. This affect can be achieved harmoniously within individual flower beds or throughout the entire landscape. Use these cool-colored Encore Azaleas as standalones or in the background of flower beds. Pair two different-sized Encore Azaleas together, for example, Autumn Angel with Autumn Belle or Autumn Chiffon with Autumn Sangria.

White is the color of purity, innocence, and kindness and should be planted in the front of your landscape or flower beds.

Autumn Angel is a smaller variety that grows 3 x 3 feet and has pure white single blooms

Autumn Moonlight is a larger variety that grows 5 x 4 feet and has semi-double white blooms with yellow throats

Autumn Starlight grows 3 ½ x 4 feet and has white single blooms with pink freckles

Autumn Twist grows 4 ½ x 4 feet and has white single blooms with purple stripes (occasional solid purple blooms)

Pink is the color of tenderness, self-worth, and acceptance and can be a perfect middle color between white and purple.

Autumn Debutante grows 4 x 4 feet and has light pink single blooms

Autumn Sweetheart grows 4 x 4 feet and has soft pink single blooms with lavender freckles

Autumn Belle is a large variety that grows 5 x 4 feet and has pale pink semi-double blooms with magenta freckles
