Warm Colors are red, orange, and yellow. They command attention and are best used in areas of the landscape where you want to make a statement. If choosing a warm color scheme, plant reds in the background, oranges in the middle, and yellows in the front – the same order as found in the color wheel. Because they are some of the strongest hues in the color wheel, they appear closer to the eye and therefore should be placed towards the back of the bed or landscape when mixed with cooler colors. Try these warm-colored Encore Azaleas as standalones or in the background of flower beds.
Orange is the color of warmth, happiness, and transformation.
